Mostly4Macs.co.uk - welcome to the website

Somehow or other you have arrived at the Mostly 4 Macs website. It doesn't matter whether this occurred by accident, following someone's recommendation, from a link somewhere else, or through a search engine - everyone is just as welcome.

Just incase you're wondering, the name of "Mostly 4 Macs" actually refers to the number of computers being used back in 2004 when I officially started working on a self employed basis.
This was a tongue in cheek reaction to a conversation which I over heard while waiting for something to be finished off in a copy shop. This conversation was between two business men and one was describing the people who had done some graphic design work for him as "just two kids with a Mac".

Most of the content on Mostly4Macs.co.uk generally fell into one of four categories (and was located in one of four areas): Blog, Resources, Links and Services.
The Blog Pages used to contain a slightly random collection of thoughts and opinions with a vaguely technology based theme.
The Resources Pages contained a small selection of snippets which some people may find useful.
The Links Pages (also known as Yet Another List Of Stuff On The Internet) were probably the most likely reason for people to have visited the website.
And finally the pages at mostly4macs.co.uk/services used to provide an overview of the sort of work which Mostly 4 Macs offered.

It is should be obvious to anyone reading this explanation that descriptions of what the website used to contain and services that Mostly 4 Macs used to offer are both being talked about in the past tense.
The reason for use of the past tense is that long term ongoing health problems have prevented me from continuing to offer any of the computer services which used to be carried out under the name of Mostly 4 Macs.
I have also been forced to abandon any expectation of continuing to maintain or updating the content of any of the various websites - including this one - which I used to operate.
If you still decide to use this site then be prepared for a selection of broken links and outdated information. Please also be aware that this website will almost certainly be taken offline permanently by February 2012.
